Blackburn and District Trades Union Council is a local body of the TUC comprised of delegates from Trade Union organisations whose members either live or work in our area of responsibility - the Boroughs of Blackburn with Darwen and of the Ribble Valley.

Our role is that of bringing the unions together to give them a united voice and influence on issues affecting local workplaces and communities and on questions of social and economic policy.
